Discussions - Multiply Your Muscles - What's Your Workout? - Beginning runner and cardio for the program

  • I'm working towards running my first 5K in about 7 weeks and was wondering if I would do the other cardio workouts on the days when I don't run (I'm following Pete's preferred running plan from the book). I know you're suppose to rest in between running days but I would like to lose weight while training for the 5K. Would it be possible to do it that way or would I be risking overtraining and hamper my running progress?
