Pepperoni pizza is a food I really like. Here is a recipe that makes it much more calorie friendly. At first I didn't think this would help my pizza craving. I was very surprised that it did. No it's not the real thing but is a good alternative for me.
1 serving Flatout Flat Bread (I use Healthy Grain/Whole Grain White)
1/4 C store-bought pizza sauce
1/4 C shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (I use Kraft)
1 t dried oregano
1 t dried basil
12 pieces turkey pepperoni
Garlic powder to taste (optional, I like garlic so use quite a bit)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake the flatbread for 4 minutes. Top flatbread with remaining ingredients and bake 7-8 more minutes (until cheese is melted and pepperoni is warm).
